Eclipses are New Moons (solar eclipses) or Full Moons (lunar eclipses) that occur near the lunar nodes — the points where the Moon's orbit crosses the ecliptic. Eclipses are considered the most powerful lunations in astrology, capable of triggering major life changes, revelations, and turning points. Their effects can unfold over 6 months and are especially potent when they aspect natal planets. Eclipse seasons occur twice per year, approximately 6 months apart.
